Aoyama Lab Spatial Experience

Aoyama Lab is a 320-square-meter ground-floor research and exhibition space we opened in February 2026. Designed as both an in-house lab and a public-facing venue, the space hosts material studies, workshops, and twice-yearly exhibitions tied to studio research.

The interior leans on long-life materials — left-natural pine, brushed aluminum, and a single concrete pour for the central island — paired with a modular shelving system designed to be rearranged for each exhibition cycle. A small editorial reading room sits at the rear, stocked with the studio's publications and reference library.

The space is open to visitors by appointment and hosts a public open day on the first Saturday of each month.
